Self cleaning screen water filters

The self-cleaning screen filters are suitable for pressurized systems, normally the filtration flow,
passes through the filter element from the inside-out.

The cleaning of the filter element takes place without flow rate interruption, by aspirating the suspended solids retained,
through a “suction scanner” cleaning system.

The cleaning device is automatically rotated by an activated gearmotor, by a
programmer that allows cyclic pause-work interventions and through differential pressure switch.

They are made of Aisi 304 / 316L stainless steel in painted carbon steel or in plastic material.

Filtration grades, from 50 to 2000 microns.

Applications

Water systems with the presence of suspended solids that are difficult to remove.

Sectors of application:

  • Industrial process water,
  • cooling towers,
  • paper mills,
  • pretreatment to potabilization,
  • pre-treatment of RO systems,
  • tertiary sewage treatment,
  • irrigation.

Ecoklin Filters

Ecoklin filters are automatic self-cleaning mesh filters, suitable for pressurized systems. The filtration process takes place as the water that needs to be filtered, passes through the filtering element from the inside-out. The filtering element consists of a PP or PES net supported by an AISI 316 stainless steel basket. The cleaning of the filtering element takes place without flow interruption.

The suspended solids retained by the filtering element are evacuated through a “suction scanner” cleaning system which is activated during the cleaning cycle. All Ecoklin “Suction Scanner” series filter housings are made of AISI 304/316 stainless steel.
